Retail Sales Assistant - Marine Supplies

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Retail Sales Assistant to join the Camilleri Marine team. This role is essential for ensuring a welcoming and organized shop environment, providing excellent frontline customer service, and supporting the overall sales process. The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual with a passion for marine products, eager to assist customers with general inquiries, maintain product displays, and ensure a smooth shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide initial greeting and assistance to customers entering the shop, directing them to relevant product areas or staff members.
• Assist customers with general product inquiries, offering basic information and guiding them through the selection of general marine supplies and accessories.
• Maintain an organized and visually appealing shop floor, including stocking shelves, arranging displays, and ensuring products are clearly displayed.
• Assist with inventory management tasks, such as receiving new stock, conducting stock counts, and identifying low stock levels.
• Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the retail space to enhance the customer shopping experience.
• Support the Sales Executives by preparing products for customer viewing or collection as needed.
• Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately.
